2. Science Squad School Visits

Across Curaçao, brilliant minds are diving into the mysteries of our coral reefs, harnessing the power of wind, exploring our rich culture, history, and arts, and even cracking the codes of technology and economics. Their mission? To supercharge our health and give our economy a sustainable boost!

These researchers shape the island's future, and we’ve invited them to join the Science Squad.

Now, your school has the chance to invite a Science Squad member right into your classroom! Get ready for a mind-blowing session your students will be talking about long after the bell rings.

3. Sci-Venture Digital Scavenger Hunt

The Digital Scavenger Hunt · 25 September 2026 - September 2027

A clue trail through the Renaissance Mall, the Rif Fort Village, and historic Willemstad, open to be played by students, families, and the whole community.

How the winner is decided

The app has a digital leaderboard, and after the Scavenger Hunt, the person or team with the highest total is named Curaçao’s 2026 winner in a live announcement at Rif Fort.

Practical

  • One smartphone per team is enough

  • Free to play; no app purchase, no ticket

  • Played during the event afternoon; routes are walkable and accessible

  • Students should come supervised as on any school outing

How it works

  • Teams follow a digital clue trail on a smartphone

  • Clues lead through Rif Fort Village and historic Willemstad

  • Each stop connects to a real research story from the island

  • School teams compete in the final scored round; families and visitors play the open version
